The End is an animated short film produced by unnamed artists shortly before the closure of Blue Sky Studios. It consists of a single shot, starring Scrat and his signature acorn.

Posted on April 13, 2022 as an unlisted YouTube video under the title "The End"[1], the description reads the following:
"In the final days of Blue Sky Studios, a small team of artists came together to do one final shot. This shot is a farewell, a send-off on our own terms."
Synopsis[]
Scrat's acorn lies alone on the snowy ground. Scrat hops around in the distance before spotting his acorn, to which he excitedly hops towards. He hugs and pats the acorn, and readies himself to shove it into the ground once more. However, Scrat hesitates, and lowers the acorn before him as his smile dissipates. He takes another look at it, seemingly reconsidering his actions. Instead of simply shoving it into the ground, he looks to his right, briefly observing his surroundings.
Scrat proceeds to swiftly devour the acorn, quickly digging his teeth into the nut. He briefly looks to his left to observe his surroundings once more, and manages to eat the rest of the acorn in a matter of seconds. He looks upon the acorn's remains. Scrat notices something to his left, and sniffing the air, he smiles before proceeding to hop towards it.
