New home?[]

It doesn't really look to me like Switch-back Cove is where the herd go to at the end of the movie. It seemed a lot smaller beforehand, with the beach leading to a small forest, leading to the current area at the back. The area seen at the end of the movie was much larger, with several peaks, as opposed to the one seen in far-off shots of SBC.The Nth Doctor (talk) 02:11, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

Well, the Hyraxes stayed there and manny couldn't Have thought another place exept this. -- Bryan5hu (talk) 08:19, August 23, 2012 (UTC)

The Hyrax didn't stay. They floated off into the ocean after escaping Gutt, right behind Manny and the others. The Nth Doctor (talk) 02:50, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

They aren't seen in the siren scene and the final battle and appears at the new home later -- Bryan5hu (talk) 09:30, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

I've just watched the film again, and I've noticed the new home had several mountains, one of which had a snowy peak. Switch-back Cove had only one mountain, with no snow on it.The Nth Doctor (talk) 01:05, August 29, 2012 (UTC)

It Amy be a playof animation.Manny remembers the place and goes there. But it can't be assured. -- Bryan5hu (talk) 12:28, August 29, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry to bring this up again, but the new home is definitely not Switch-back Cove. Switch-back Cove is a small (Diego and Shira ran from end to the other in just over a minute), crescent shaped island. There's only one mountain (with no snow on it), and no big inlet, unlike the new home. The island is basically a beach, a small forest, a mountain, and the eponymous cove itself. There is no sign of any of the stuff seen at the end of the movie. No grassy ridges, no Hyrax statue of liberty, none of that. The Disney Screencaps site has plenty of pics if you want to do your own comparision. The Nth Doctor (talk) 00:24, August 9, 2013 (UTC)
