The Fruit Bombs are Buck's signature projectile weapons in the third movie . They are berry-like fruits that burst with gas on hitting targets.
Effects[]
They can be used to knock out smaller opponents by stunning . On larger opponents, they will normally just blur vision.
These have an effervescent effect if striking the target's digestive tract at high velocity, leading to explosive bloating , possiblly knocking the victim out.
Description[]
These fruits are red/crimson in colour and seem to be slightly edible. They are found across Dino Valley.
By the fact that Scrat and Scratte were eating the smaller fruits, it seem that they are edible when less ripe or small and if not thrown with force.

After The Herd used th Brachiosaurus' neck as a bridge, they became stranded in the midst of dozens of hostile dinosaurs. When it seemed certain the herd would be beaten to pulp, Buck arrived at the scene and used the fruits to erect a smoke screen, allowing him to take the herd to safety.
